The Christmas Trees Are Here!

Christmas trees are for sale at Follen from December 1-24!

Join the 64-year-old Follen tradition and sign up to sell trees or to help set up the trees for sale. It’s a great activity for couples or for the whole family. Kids are always welcome. Ask a friend to sell trees with you! And be sure to come pick out a beautiful tree to brighten your own home.

Selling trees

You can join in the fun by signing up for a two-hour selling slot any day from December 1 to Christmas Eve.

The hours are:

Saturday: 9am – 8pm
Sunday: 12pm – 8pm
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 3pm – 7pm
Friday: 1-7pm

Updates to the schedule will be posted here.

(Closed Mondays except for Christmas Eve)

If you have not sold trees before and would like an experienced partner the first time, add yourself to the second seller line, with someone you would like to get to know better. It is especially helpful to have an extra person on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, when it gets really busy.

Donate a tree?

Again this year Follen Church, in collaboration with the UU Urban Ministry, Lexington Human Services Department, and other UU communities is providing coupons to families that can be exchanged for any tree in the lot.  This program helps families that might not otherwise be able to afford a Christmas tree to be able to partake in this fun holiday tradition.  Please donate to the Follen Free Trees program either online or by dropping off a check at the Christmas tree table at Coffee Hour. We would like to raise $400.00 to cover the cost of the trees.

Setting up trees

We also need help unbundling the trees, setting them on racks and pricing them. You can help set up December 1, 9am-12pm. Kids 8 and up can help by tying on tags. Bring them along!
