  • January 20, 3 pm at the UUUM: The Ties that Bind. $10 donation to Opera unMet at the door. You won’t want to miss this event, described as “a different kind of MLK celebration”. Under the direction of UUUM board member Marshall Hughes, the ensemble presents a thought-provoking look at social justice and civil morality through words, song, music and interactive response. This year, we honor Sam Cornish, Howard L Resnikoff, Elizabeth Donaldson and Joanne Lowry as great leaders in social and civic justice.
February 
  • February 29:30 am – 2:30 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Area Church at First Parish in Sherborn: “Visions of Justice: A Forum on Race, Immigration and the Environment”. You are invited to this exploration of justice and injustice. Join in the conversation about how we can contribute to a more just world. Registration is required ($30-$50 sliding scale); for more information and to register, click here.
  • February 10, 3 pm at First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton: Musicians Concert to Benefit the UUUM. You won’t want to miss this fun afternoon featuring music for everyone, from classical and jazz to rock standards. Donations benefit the UUUM’s programs!  (Snow date 2/17.)
  • February 12, 6 pm at the UUUM: We Who Believe in Freedom Community Supper and Reading, facilitated by Mimi Jones. Series made possible with support from Mass Humanities.

  • March 17, 3 pm at the UUUM: Boston Symphony Orchestra presents its Community Chamber Concert in the First Church in Roxbury. Stay afterwards for a reception. More details to follow.
