Urban Ministry Congregational Team
About the UMCT and the UU Urban Ministry
The Urban Ministry Congregational Team at Follen supports the Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry (uuum.org), a social justice ministry dedicated to the recognition that we are all part of one human family, urban and suburban, with the same fundamental rights. The UUUM is a ministry-at-large supported by an alliance of more than 40 Unitarian Universalist congregations in Greater Boston and depends on both our donations and presence to accomplish its mission.
Follow the links to read about UUUM programs on its website; each offers mutually transformative opportunities to bridge the divides of race, class, and ethnicity.
- Four programs center on education and enrichment.
- Renewal House is a spiritually-based emergency domestic violence shelter.
