The Follen choir, soloists, and early music instrumentalists will present a Panoply of Palestrina (1525-1594): An interwoven offering of choral pieces, instrumentals and songs. Come hear the Follen adult choir; vocal soloists Epp S., Maria M., Jamie L., Lexi U., Iris P., and Karl H.; and instrumentalists Shaylor L. (harpsichord) and a viola da gamba ensemble.

In this his quincentenary year of his birth, we celebrate the music of G.P. da Palestrina. He is widely considered one of the greatest contrapuntal composers of all time, whose music is still widely studied as the apex of Renaissance polyphony.
