Coming Up:

Sunday December 4

Classroom religious education resumes this week for Nursery – Grade 8.  This will be the final in-classroom RE program until January 8.

Sunday December 11

We will welcome the fabulous singer/storyteller/composer/actor Kemp Harris for a special program.  Kemp taught in the kempNewton public school system for over twenty years and was a beloved and much-requested teacher.  He is a composer and actor as well as a musician, appearing frequently with his trio in Cambridge and Boston.  As a storyteller he appears
regularly in the Newton school system and other storytelling festivals.  This is a great program to invite friends to attend;  it will begin at 10:30 on Dec. 11.

December 18

During worship, there will be extended nursery care for children through age 5.  Children 6-12 are invited to participate in a One Room Schoolhouse led by Jody Gray-Linden. (Children and youth participating in the pageant, “Christmas Tapestry,” will have a separate rehearsal during worship time.)

December 25 and January 1

There will be no nursery care or religious education programming.  We hope you enjoy the holidays with family and friends; our excellent RE staff (including Melissa Hawkins, Jody Gray-Linden, and Lori Moresco plus our teen classroom assistants) will as well!
