Members Bernie Harleston and Lex Johnson Speak at Racism Panel Discussion

Last Thursday, May 4, the team called Follen Responds to Racism hosted another in a series of events designed to spark discussion about our anti-racism resolution, “Advancing Follen Church as an Antiracist Congregation.”

A group of about 50 Follenites heard a presentation on the resolution and responses from members of the community. Bernie Harleston and Lex Johnson shared their perspectives. Then Lori Kenschaft, a lay leader at First Parish Arlington presented our UU neighbor’s experience with hanging a banner. Watch videos of all three below.

To hear more about the resolution and share your perspective, please come to the next meeting, Thursday May 11, 7:30pm in the Community Center.
