Our Religious Education Program Needs Your Help

Follen’s Religious Education program urgently seeks a few great folks to work with our programs.  We need these people particularly:

  • Two more advisors for FUUY, our program for high school youth, grades 9-12*, to work as part of a team, advising our great youth program (average of two two-hour meetings per month, plus two overnight retreats and a few planning meetings/year).
  • Two more Coming of Age Advisors for our 10th grade* COA program:  This year, we expect our program to have a team of 4 advisors for the year (two per session).  We will be offering mentorship with a team of mentors (about ten total for about nineteen participating youth).  This program will meet roughly every other week; one to two overnight retreats will also be offered, plus several planning meetings/year).
  • RE Teachers:  We need teachers for 1-6.  We have an immediate need for teachers for the popular “Popcorn Theology” course for grades 5/6.

To put a point on it:  these programs can not operate without your involvement!  We welcome parents and non-parents, grandparents, singles, and more.  *If you have a child in grades 9-12 you can not be an advisor to their program – but we encourage and need your participation in other areas!
