Through our Faith Forward partnership with the First Unitarian Church of Dallas, our members, friends, and newcomers have the opportunity to participate in a free online workshop series, Biblical Literacy for Unitarian Universalists. This series is offered in two parts, one in winter 2025 and the second in fall 2025.

Part II includes:

  • Approaching the Bible—Many Books, Many Sources
  • Prophets
  • Paul’s Letters
  • Revelations
  • Psalms
  • The Bible and Our Lives

This is a unique opportunity to explore the Bible through a Unitarian Universalist lens and to connect in community with UUs from all over the country (and sometimes other countries!). You do not have to have attended Part I to attend this class. Those with a little knowledge of the Bible and those who have a lot of knowledge are encouraged to attend. As we connect our own lives and faith as Unitarian Universalists to the biblical literature, we learn from one another’s experiences.
