Music Service/ Urban Church Music Friendships

For our March 31 Music Service, all Follen choirs (Adult, Youth, Children’s) will be joined by the choir and director of the Hamilton-Garrett Music and Arts Academy for a collaboration focused on songs about segregation, racial injustice, and the quest for freedom, with excerpts from a song cycle reflecting the story of Freddy Gray.

Our offering that day will be a “Share The Plate” for HGMAA’s important educational and community service. A “listening lunch” will follow (RSVP to musicdirector@follen.org) where we can welcome and get to know our guests.
