“Echoes,” written by Rob Hyman and friends, was recorded by Dar Williams on her 2005 album My Better Self. This song of gratitude speaks to interconnection and rides on the conviction that small acts of kindness and justice can and still do resonate and ring “all over the world.” It stands in defiance to hopelessness.

“Sanctus” by Palestrina is from his Pope Marcellus Mass, written in 1552. This is Palestrina’s best-known mass and is regarded as an archetypal example of the complex polyphony he championed. This mass is in 6 parts and features our Follen children and youth choirs on the topmost of those.
