Music Notes 11/30/25

The prelude is a quiet but hopeful original melody intended to relax you away from the to-do list part of your brain!

“Changes” is a musical acknowledgment that changing can be challenging. It’s not easy to put on a new lens or change a perspective; in fact, it takes courage but sometimes you have to “just do it.” Say the brave, “let changes come.”

“Brave Enough to Try” reflects the reality that even just “trying” is no small achievement, especially when the tide of public policy floods your sense of values and decency and the odds seem long. Despair is not an option! It is in these times that it’s most important to find your extra reserve of energy and confidence to do what you most truly believe in.

Finally, “I Whistle a Happy Tune” tells us that first step in facing fear can be creating joy, even without losing the fear. Joy heals and energizes you for life’s inevitable struggles. Fear is okay, but don’t be afraid to find your own happy tune, and maybe even whistle about it!
