Share the Plate This Sunday in Worship
Twenty-five Follen youth and six adults will go on Follen’s 12th service trip to New Orleans, where recovery, even now, is unfinished in some places. The strenuous, dirty work of rebuilding will be paired with dialogues about race and activities that shed light on issues of racial injustice, including a visit to the Whitney Plantation
, the first museum dedicated to telling the story of slavery and its consequences. Share the Plate donations will defray travel expenses, help pay for building materials, provide scholarship assistance to those who need it, and support learning experiences. Please give generously to support our youth, and thank you!
