Hello friends,

This week begins the 3-month stretch during which I’ll serve as your sabbatical minister. I came up to Lexington in June and met most of the staff and a few lay leaders. Since then, I’ve spoken to other leaders and all have been lovely introductions. I look forward to deepening those relationships as we work together to keep the Follen Church shining as it does.

As you may know, I live in New London, CT, which is a 2-hour drive to the church. My in-person schedule is concentrated on 3 Sundays a month and Mondays. My 20-hour work week will combine in-person and remote presence.

I have great respect and admiration for Reverend Claire and the ministry she shares with all of you. I’m honored to support you over the next 12 weeks. I look forward to meeting you on September 7 at Ingathering! In the meantime, I hope you’ll enjoy the waning days of summer.
