At a gala this Saturday night to benefit his dance company The Bang Group, dancer/choreographer David Parker will honor Stan Griffith (left) with the first Robert B. Parker and Joan H. Parker Compassionate Action Award. Stan is a lifelong activist and president emeritus of the nonprofit organization Greater Boston PFLAG (Parents, Families, and Friends of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer people.
