Special Events and Services

Saturday December 2

  • Tree Pricing Party- 9am Please come and we will show you what to do!
  • Hot Cocoa and Carols- 11am-1pm Please join us for hot chocolate and holiday cheer as we celebrate the start of our Christmas Tree season. All are welcome to join together at the Christmas Tree Lot to sip hot cocoa and sing your favorite carols.

  • Holiday Crafting Event- 12-2pm This is a beloved holiday tradition at Follen Church where children and adults can craft ornaments, cards, jewelry, candy houses, and more. If you have a craft that you want to share, just email Sytske Campbell. This event is now after worship on a Sunday.

Christmas Pickup Choir

Rehearsals on 3 Saturdays: December 9, 16, and 23, 1-2:15pm

Dress rehearsal 5:30-7:30pm on December 24

  • Pickup Intergenerational Christmas Choir Come get in the holiday spirit, sing the melody with gusto, learn some harmonies to well loved carols. Prepare to sing at the 8pm Christmas Eve service. Note: locations vary. Sonin Room (12/9 and 12/23) and Sanctuary (12/16)

Tree Sales

December 2-December 24. Get in the spirit and take a selling shift!

Holiday Flowers

You can purchase a poinsettia in honor of or in memory of a loved one, and the flowers will decorate the Sanctuary for Christmas.

The Giving Tree

Follen Church members and friends are invited to purchase a gift for a local child in need. As of this time, all tags are taken. Bring your contributions to Follen at Coffee Hour by December 10. Thank you, Follen!

The Mitten Tree

Religious Education is sponsoring a collection of warm winter accessories for Africano in Waltham. The Mitten Tree will be part of the service December 17. Please bring donations of new or gently used warm socks, gloves, head gear, and scarfs. All sizes – kids through adults.
