“Blooms,” a new show by Edie Engel is now in the Anne Smith gallery.

Taking photographs of flowers is an outgrowth of Edie’s interest in botany and gardening.  Flowers (besides being necessarily more patient subjects than wildlife and small children) provide an endless display of color, texture, and shape.  Looking closely at flowers has provided her with a great deal of pleasure, which she hopes you will share.
