Our 188th Fair

Celebrate the New England fall season on Saturday, October 3, at the 188th annual East Village Fair!

This family-friendly festival features our signature Flea Market, children’s games and activities, delicious baked goods, hot and cold foods, plant and produce sales, vendor booths and tables representing local organizations, music, cheese, cider, ice cream, and so much more!

The East Village Fair runs from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Items available at our Flea Market include general housewares and home decor, books for all ages, costume and fine jewelry, gently used toys and games, and Finer Fleas.

Come play, eat, shop, and visit with neighbors and friends at the East Village Fair!

One of America’s Oldest Community Fairs

In 1839, the “Ladies of East Lexington” held a fair to raise funds “to aid in the erection of a Christian Church in East Lexington.” That first fair included a toy shop for children and entertainment by the Brigade Band. The tradition has continued almost every year since. At left, 1951 fair-goers celebrate with 19th-century costumes.
