We have extended donation time to include Friday morning, 9am-noon. Please refer to these guidelines:  https://follen.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/EVF-2019-Donation-Info-1.pdf

First Chance Friday will be Friday, 7-8pm.  Stay tuned to the Follen website and Facebook page for updates about that.  We greatly appreciate your patience with this process.  As you can imagine, the timing has been difficult and has impaired our ability to plan.  We have holes on the signup page.  PLEASE, PLEASE signup to help on Fair Day here.  Volunteer – Sign Up online.  We need EVERYONE to help.

One of America’s Oldest Community Fairs

In 1839 the “Ladies of East Lexington” held a fair to raise funds “to aid in the erection of a Christian Church in East Lexington.” That first fair included a toy shop for children and entertainment by the Brigade Band. The tradition has continued almost every year since. At right, 1951 fair-goers celebrate with 19th century costumes.

Today, Follen’s October fall festival fair joins nearby Waldorf School, Wilson Farms, and the Lexington Historical Society to celebrate our heritage and welcome the harvest. The fair includes a big flea market, children’s games, food hot and cold, produce, pies, cheese, crafts, music, and much more.
