Tuesday, July 25, 7-9pm Temple Isaiah
Temple Isaiah hosts an evening of learning about the Muslim faith (think interesting Islam 101 intro) and for hearing stories from individuals of their experiences being Muslim in Boston. At a time when so much of what we hear seems focused on what can divide us, we’ll focus on the many elements that can unite us. We’ll also learn about specific threats facing the Muslim community in these troubling times and about what we can do to be of support.
Speakers include Temple Isaiah clergy and our Muslim neighbors from the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center. This program is part of GBIO’s (Greater Boston Interfaith Organization) “Out of Many, One”: Teach-In and Solidarity with the Boston Muslim Community.
We invite you to come and bring a friend. Your RSVP to http://isbcc.org/out-of-many-one/ would be helpful for planning purposes but is not required.
