Yearning To Breathe Free: Refugee Stories Through Music, Words, and Dance

Saturday, November 11, Cary Hall, Lexington

This event is a benefit performance for the Munroe Saturday Nights free performing arts series, and the Lexington Refugee Assistance Program. In keeping with tradition this is a free event, but as the causes here are valuable ones, we encourage you to make a donation here or at the event.

This event is being directed by Boston area director, Melinda Lopez with dozens of performers – local actors, storytellers, poets, dancers, painters, singers, and others who have come together with folks in the refugee community to present refugee stories. The foyer will be filled with exhibits by area refugee assistance programs who are serving folks locally, and there will be a Q&A after the performance.
