Anti-Racism Book Group Explores Being White in America

The February book for the Follen Anti-Racism Book Group is Waking Up White by Debbie Irving. This memoir describes to the author’s epiphany of what it means to be white in America, knowing the true, complex history of race in America. Follen’s library has several copies available to borrow. This author is speaking at the Waldorf School on February 2 at 7 pm, and there will be a brief opportunity for reflection immediately following at Follen. (See related item above.)
